By accessing, browsing, or using the BuyMyWishes platform (the "Platform"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations.
2. Definitions
- "Platform" - The BuyMyWishes website, mobile applications, and related services
- "Wisher" - A user who submits a wish request for an item or service
- "Granter" - A verified user who fulfills wishes by purchasing requested items
- "Wish" - A request submitted by a Wisher for a specific item or service
- "Fulfillment" - The process of purchasing and delivering a wished item
- "We," "Us," "Our" - BuyMyWishes and its operators
3. User Eligibility
Age Requirements
- You must be at least 18 years old to become a Granter
- Users under 18 may submit wishes with parental consent
- All users must provide accurate age information
Geographic Restrictions
- Platform services are available in supported countries only
- Users must comply with their local laws and regulations
- We reserve the right to restrict access based on location
4. Platform Overview
Service Description
BuyMyWishes operates as an intermediary platform connecting individuals who wish to receive items ("Wishers") with individuals who wish to grant those requests ("Granters"). We do not manufacture, sell, or directly provide the items requested.
Platform Role
- We facilitate connections between users
- We provide verification and safety measures
- We process payments securely
- We moderate content for appropriateness
- We do NOT guarantee wish fulfillment
5. User Responsibilities
Account Security
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- You are responsible for all activities under your account
- Use strong, unique passwords for your account
Accurate Information
- Provide truthful, accurate, and complete information
- Update your information when it changes
- Do not impersonate others or provide false identity information
6. Granter Obligations
Verification Requirements
- Complete the granter application process honestly
- Provide valid payment methods
- Maintain good standing in the community
- Follow all granter guidelines and policies
Fulfillment Obligations
- Purchase items as promised within reasonable timeframes
- Provide proof of purchase when requested
- Ensure items are delivered to the correct address
- Communicate openly about any issues or delays
⚠️ Important Notice
Granters who fail to fulfill confirmed wishes may face account suspension or permanent ban. Repeated violations will result in removal from the platform and potential legal action for fraud.
7. Wisher Obligations
Wish Submission Requirements
- Submit genuine, honest wish requests
- Provide accurate product links and information
- Include truthful personal stories when required
- Specify correct delivery addresses
Post-Fulfillment Responsibilities
- Confirm receipt of items promptly
- Provide delivery confirmation when requested
- Express gratitude to granters appropriately
- Report any issues or discrepancies immediately
8. Prohibited Conduct
Strictly Forbidden Activities
- Submitting fraudulent or deceptive wishes
- Creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits
- Requesting inappropriate, illegal, or harmful items
- Harassment, bullying, or inappropriate communication
- Attempting to bypass platform safety measures
- Using the platform for commercial purposes without permission
- Sharing personal contact information in public areas
- Attempting to arrange transactions outside the platform
⚠️ Violation Consequences
Users engaging in prohibited conduct will face immediate account suspension, permanent ban, and potential legal action. We cooperate fully with law enforcement on illegal activities.
9. Payment Terms
Payment Processing
- All payments are processed through secure, encrypted channels
- We use verified third-party payment processors
- Payment information is never stored on our servers
- Transaction fees may apply to certain payment methods
Refunds and Chargebacks
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis
- Legitimate fulfillment issues will be addressed promptly
- Fraudulent chargeback attempts may result in account termination
- Dispute resolution should be attempted before requesting chargebacks
Fair Usage Policy
BuyMyWishes is committed to providing equitable access to our wish-granting platform for all users. To ensure fair distribution of resources and maintain platform sustainability:
- Initial Campaign Period: During the platform's launch campaign, users may submit up to 250 free wish requests to help build our community and test the system.
- Post-Campaign Usage: After the initial campaign period concludes, each verified user account is permitted one (1) free wish submission per calendar month.
- Additional Wishes: Users requiring more than their allocated free wish may purchase additional wish credits at standard platform rates.
- Account Verification: Free wish allocations require account verification to prevent abuse and ensure fair access.
- Policy Enforcement: Violation of fair usage guidelines may result in temporary suspension of free wish privileges or account restrictions.
10. Liability Limitations
Platform Limitations
BuyMyWishes operates as an intermediary platform. We are NOT liable for:
- Quality, condition, or authenticity of items purchased
- Delivery delays or failures by third-party services
- Disputes between Wishers and Granters
- Loss, damage, or theft of items during transit
- User behavior or conduct outside our platform
- Economic losses resulting from platform use
Wish Fulfillment Disclaimer
Users acknowledge and agree that:
- No Guarantee of Fulfillment: The platform serves as a conduit for wish requests but does not control, influence, or determine the actions of individual granters or community members.
- Community-Driven Process: Wish fulfillment depends entirely on the voluntary participation and discretion of granters within our community.
- Payment Does Not Guarantee Results: While users may choose to compensate granters for their time and effort, such payments do not create any obligation, warranty, or guarantee of wish fulfillment.
- Platform Role: BuyMyWishes facilitates connections and provides tools to increase visibility and matching potential, but ultimate fulfillment decisions remain with individual granters.
- No Refunds for Unfulfilled Wishes: Given the voluntary nature of our platform, payments made for wish submissions are non-refundable, regardless of fulfillment outcome.
Third-Party Services
We integrate with third-party services (payment processors, shipping companies, retailers). We are not responsible for their actions, errors, or failures. Users agree to resolve issues directly with these third parties when appropriate.
11. Dispute Resolution
Internal Resolution Process
- Direct Communication: Users should first attempt to resolve disputes directly
- Platform Mediation: If direct resolution fails, contact our support team
- Formal Review: Serious disputes undergo formal investigation
- Final Decision: Platform administrators make binding decisions on disputes
Response Times
- Initial response: 24-48 hours
- Investigation completion: 5-10 business days

13. Platform Availability

- Emergency changes may be implemented immediately for security

14. Intellectual Property

- All platform design, logos, and content are our property
- Users may not reproduce our content without permission
- User-generated content remains owned by users
- Users grant us license to display and moderate their content

Anonymous Mode
- Data Handling: When using Anonymous Mode, your profile information is hidden but wish content remains visible to maintain platform integrity
- Granter Protections: Anonymous wishes may have reduced priority to protect granters from potential risks
- Limitation of Features: Certain platform features may be unavailable in Anonymous Mode
- Data Retention: Anonymous mode preferences are stored locally on your device and can be changed at any time
- Platform Rights: We reserve the right to disable Anonymous Mode for accounts with suspicious activity
Analytics & Tracking Features
- Granters Watching: View counts and bookmark tracking are provided for informational purposes only
- Wishlist Value Tracker: Estimated values are calculated using available data and may not reflect actual market prices
- Social Ripple Map: Network visualization shows connection patterns but does not guarantee wish fulfillment
- Data Accuracy: Analytics features use available data and may not be 100% accurate or up-to-date
- Privacy Controls: You can opt-out of certain analytics features through your account settings
⚠️ Important Notice
Advanced features like AI matching and analytics are provided "as-is" and may be modified or discontinued with notice. We are not liable for decisions made based on these features.
16. AI & Data Privacy
AI-Powered Features
- Algorithmic Recommendations: AI match suggestions are based on available data and are not guaranteed to result in wish fulfillment
- Data Processing: User data is processed to provide personalized recommendations and platform improvements
- AI Limitations: AI systems are not infallible and recommendations should not be considered professional advice
- Opt-out Rights: You may disable AI-powered features through your account settings at any time
- Third-Party AI Services: We may use third-party AI services that have their own terms and privacy policies
Data Privacy & Protection
- Data Collection: We collect usage data to improve AI features and platform performance
- Data Security: All data processing complies with applicable privacy laws and industry standards

Users may request account deletion at any time by contacting support. Active wishes and obligations must be completed before account closure.

These terms are governed by applicable local and international laws. Disputes will be resolved in accordance with the jurisdiction where our primary operations are located. Special consideration is given to laws related to data protection, consumer rights, and online gambling regulations where applicable.
